Penrith Nepean United Women’s and Girls Representative teams have competed in the Football NSW Women’s Premier League and Girls Youth Premier since there inception in 2007 winter season. Prior to this they competed in the Women’s Super League.

There are 3 teams competing at the Youth League level. Under 12`s, 14`s and 16`s and 2 senior squads Under 21`s/reserve grade and 1st grade.

The youth squads are made up of a majority of girls who live in the Nepean and Blue Mountains area. Our senior squads consist of players who have successfully been promoted through the grades with a number of marquee players for experience.

Over the years we have developed a number of players who have gone on to represent their state and Country with a number of players who have taken up full time NSWIS contracts and part time NSWIS contracts These players have mostly all been developed from within our club.

The club captain Taryn Rockall is herself a Matilda having represented Australia on a number of occasions and was the Captain of the NSW Sapphires when the interstate competition was running.

The coaching staff are all highly experienced people. Taryn Rockall and Lisa Warrener coach the 1st Grade Team. Lisa has extensive coaching experience with numerous representative teams and brings a fresh outlook to the club.

The Under 21`s coach Ian Skeogh has been coaching at the senior level for a number of years. He has been involved with state titles and Futsal Nationals on a regular basis.

The Under 16`s coach Taryn Rockall has a wealth of experience ranging from local to national duties. Taryn will instill in her team the required qualities to go to the next level.

The current PNU under 14`s coach Nadine Shiels has been appointed the job as Coach of the NSW under 13`s girls squad. Nadine will use this experience to further develop her players as well as achieve her own goals.

The under12`s coach Ian Stanton has been in the coaching game for a number of years. He gained experience in the Northern NSW area assisting state coaches. Ian also brings along a coerver background to develop his young charges.

Ian is ably assisted by Meagan Gaudry who is gaining a wealth of experience as an assistant and will take the step into coaching her own side in the near future.

The makeup of the Teams and Coaching staff will lay a good foundation for many years to come.
