Our Premier girls posted a healthy 4-1 win against
Central Coast.
This was backed y a 1-1 all draw by the reserves.
The 16s went down to a narrow 1-0 but the 14s
consolidated their spot on the table , bringing our goal average back up with a
4-0 win . The 12s saw also a narrow 1-0 loss.

Penrith Nepean United Women’s and Girls Representative teams
have competed in the Football NSW Women’s Premier League and Girls Youth Premier
since there inception in 2007 winter season. Prior to this they competed in the
Women’s Super League.
There are 3 teams competing at the Youth League
level. Under 12`s, 14`s and 16`s and 2 senior squads Under 21`s/reserve grade
and 1st grade.
The youth squads are made up of a majority of
girls who live in the Nepean and Blue Mountains area. Our senior squads consist of players who have
successfully been promoted through the grades with a number of marquee players
for experience.
Over the years we have developed a number of
players who have gone on to represent their state and Country with a number of
players who have taken up full time NSWIS contracts and part time NSWIS
contracts These players have mostly all been developed from within our club.
The club captain Taryn Rockall is herself a
Matilda having represented
Australia on a number of occasions and was the Captain of the NSW
Sapphires when the interstate competition was running.
The coaching staff are all highly
experienced people. Taryn Rockall and Lisa Warrener coach the 1st Grade Team.
Lisa has extensive coaching experience with numerous representative teams and
brings a fresh outlook to the club.
The Under 21`s coach Ian Skeogh has been coaching
at the senior level for a number of years. He has been involved with state
titles and Futsal Nationals on a regular basis.
The Under 16`s coach Taryn Rockall has a wealth
of experience ranging from local to national duties. Taryn will instill in her
team the required qualities to go to the next level.
The current PNU under 14`s coach Nadine Shiels
has been appointed the job as Coach of the NSW under 13`s girls squad. Nadine
will use this experience to further develop her players as well as achieve her
own goals.
The under12`s coach Ian Stanton has been in the
coaching game for a number of years. He gained experience in the
Northern NSW area
assisting state coaches. Ian also brings along a coerver background to develop
his young charges.
Ian is ably assisted by Meagan Gaudry who is gaining a wealth
of experience as an assistant and will take the step into coaching her own side
in the near future.
The makeup of the Teams and Coaching staff will
lay a good foundation for many years to come.
